Police Log: Boston Man Arrested For Assault and Battery at Motel 6

The following information is an excerpt from the Tewksbury Police Department logs. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.


Saturday, Jan. 4

1:32 a.m. An officer on detail reported a disturbance at Motel 6, 95 Main St., and a Boston resident was placed under arrest on an outstanding warrant. 

Donald J. Hovasse, 780 Albany St., Boston, was arrested on charges of domestic assault and battery.

5:54 p.m. A caller reported a two car crash at Old Boston Road and Main Street. One person was transported from the scene by ambulance to Winchester Hospital. One vehicle was towed from the scene. 

6:10 p.m. A caller reported her husband just left their Hinckley Road residence by car while intoxicated. An officer located the vehicle at Aubuts Liquors and the Tewksbury man was placed into protective custody.

10:42 a.m. Police received a call reporting a vehicle stuck in a snowbank at 10 Foster Road and 548 Chandler St. Officers responded and the vehicle was removed from the snowbank with the assistance of a tow truck.

1:16 p.m. A female caller reported her son took off in her vehicle with his girlfriend without permission. 

A caller reported the driver hit her vehicle as she was driving down the street. An officer located the vehicle and stopped the driver as he was returning to his residence. 

Ryan C. Crockett, 35 Arlington St., Tewksbury, was placed under arrest for use of a motor vehicle without authority.
