Cinnamon Circle Man Arrested With Allegedly Stolen Car

The following information was supplied by the Tewksbury Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

An officer requested a marked unit for a vehicle on Chandler Street that did not match the license plate on Wednesday, July 10, at 6:46 p.m. The vehicle identification number of the car confirmed it to be a stolen vehicle out of Lowell.

Michael J. Codner, 26, of 34 Cinnamon Circle, was arrested for a subsequent offense of receiving a stolen motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, receiving stolen property less than $250, and an outstanding warrant for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

Home Depot loss prevention requested assistance with three shoplifters on Monday, July 8, at 4:27 p.m. 

Kevin R. Moison, 19, of 26 Red Dox Crsg., Templeton, Stephanie Dilda, 17, of 177 Stowell Road Apt. 3, New Ipswich, N.H., and Nathaniel Bennett, 19, of 27 Tote Drive, New Ipswitch, N.H., were each arrested and charged with shoplifting greater than $100 by concealing and conspiracy.

Then on Monday, July 8, at 8:23 p.m. loss prevention at Home Depot reported a female employee has been stealing money from the cash register. 

April Marie Loh, 25, of 49 Wamesit Street Apt. 1, Lowell, was arrested and charged with larceny greater than $250.

Additional Incidents:

On Tuesday, July 9, at 10:12 a.m. Lowell Police requested assistance locating a male employee at Payless Shoe to be arrested. Roy Valdez, 20, of 85 Rogers Street, Tewksbury, was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

On Tuesday, July 9, at 1:16 p.m. an officer requested another cruiser at Mobil on the Run. Adam J. Garvey, 33, of 113 Burnham Road, Lowell, was arrested and charged with possession of Class D drugs and conspiracy to violate drug laws. Alessandro A. MacCanico, 29, of 48 Richard Circle, Woburn, was charged with distributing Class D drugs and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

On Wednesday, July 10, at 12:48 p.m. a resident called the business line reporting that a man assaulted her and she wanted him removed from the property. Police arrested Jose Portillo, 42, of 289 Kendall Road, Tewksbury, and charged him with assault and battery.

On Wednesday, July 10, at 6:45 p.m. Lowell Police reported an 18-wheeler was parked behind Market Basket and was leaking diesel fuel. Officers were sent and the Department of Environmental Protection was notified.

On Wednesday, July 10, at 11:27 p.m. police arrested Michael R. Desmarais, 28, of 111 Acton Road, Chelmsford, for two outstanding warrants.

On Thursday, July 11, at 9:32 a.m. a 911 caller on Bradford Road reported that his vehicle was stolen out of his driveway sometime this morning. The man called back to report that his son took the car and there was no use without authority that took place.
