Drug Bust, OUI, Break-ins And A Turtle Top Police Log

The following information was supplied by the Tewksbury Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Arrests:

Jared G. Ravegni, 20, 1 Summer St., Wilmington, was arrested on May 18, outside and was charged with distribution of a Class D substance.

James Treadwell, 51, 3 Candlestick Lane, Salem, NH, was arrested on May 18 and was charged with OUI-liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, failure to stop/yield and failure to signal.

Shawn M. Heselton, 28, 15 Third Ave. Lowell, was arrested on May 15 and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license (subsequent offense) and speeding in violation of special regulations.

Alyssa Boisvert, 23, 35 Patriot Way, Lowell, was arrested on May 15 on an outstanding warrant.

Additional Incidents:

On Friday, May 18, at 5:05 p.m., a resident on Jennies Way reported that her son's dune buggy had been stolen from out of her front yard. An officer responded to the scene and a report was filed.

On Thursday, May 17, just after 10 a.m., an officer reported a large turtle in the road near the intersection of Whipple Road and Chandler Street. The animal control officer was notified.

On Thursday, May 17, just after 2 p.m., the called police to report a person that refused to leave their room. Officers responded to the scene and then one of the officers called for the Fire Department to respond. One person was taken to Saints Medical Center in Lowell with undisclosed injuries.

On Wednesday, May 16, at 5:18 p.m., a Cinnamon Circle resident reported that their home had been burglarized during the day. Officers responded to the scene and a report was filed.

On Wednesday, May 16, at 9:29 p.m., three people walked into to report an attempted break-in on Andover Street. The people said they knew the person responsible. Their statements were taken and a report was filed.

On Tuesday, May 15, at 4:41 p.m., a caller reported a two-car accident at the intersection of East and Chandler Streets. Rescue crews responded to the scene and two people were taken to Saints Medical Center in Lowell with non-life threatening injuries.

On Tuesday, May 15, an employee at , reported that a woman had stolen $83 in beauty supplies and fled the store in the direction of Lowell. Lowell Police were notified and stopped a pickup truck matching the description of the woman's vehicle. the woman, whose name was not released, was arrested on warrants and a summons was issued for the shoplifting.

On May 15, at 3:29 p.m., a resident of Whipple Road reported that someone had shot out a window of their home with a BB gun. A report was filed.

On May 15, at 3:46 p.m., a Chandler Street resident reported that someone broke into their shed and stole some items. An officer responded and a report was filed.
