Grand Jury Indicts Lynn Man for Tewksbury Incident

Luis Herra, 23, was arrested in Tewksbury last December for allegedly dealing heroin.

Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan announced on Wednesday that a Lynn man was indicted by a grand jury for his part in an alleged drug deal in Tewksbury.

Luis Antonio Herra, 23, of 39 Childs Street Apt. 3, Lynn, was indicted and charged with trafficking in heroin over 18 grams, Ryan announced on Wednesday.

On Wednesday, Dec. 11, Tewksbury Police arrested Herra after conducting surveillance on Salem Road.

Police allege that Herra was observed conducting a transaction on Valley Road prior to his arrest.

As a part of the incident, police seized a total of 24 grams of heroin. The Assistant District Attorney in the case is Clarence Brown.
