Lawrence Man Arrested in Tewksbury for Allegedly Distributing Heroin

Tewksbury Police continued a busy week of arrests on Tuesday when they allegedly witnessed a Lawrence man in the middle of a drug transaction.

Pedro Luis Martinez, 31, of 63 Lexington Street, Apt. 1, Lawrence, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with distribution of a Class A substance, heroin, according to a press release by the Tewksbury Police Department.

Tewksbury detectives allegedly witnessed Martinez conduct a drug deal on Merrimack Meadow Lane. He was eventually arrested after an ongoing investigation, police said.

Martinez was scheduled to be arraigned in Lowell District Court on Wednesday.
