Lowell Man Crashes Into Property, Charged With OUI

The following information was supplied by the Tewksbury Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Calling from Andover Street at Greenmeadow Drive on Thursday, August 1, at 10:35 p.m., a resident reported a motor vehicle crash. Property damage was done to an Andover Street home. 

Pjone Phetvixay, 33, of 40 Crescent Street, Lowell, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, and marked lanes violation.

A caller reported an intoxicated man who fell in a ditch and was possibly unconscious on Chapman Road on Thursday, August 1, at 9:28 p.m. The man was transported to Saints Medical Center.

On Thursday, August 1, at 1:22 a.m. a possible overdose was reported on Bailey Road.

On Thursday, August 1, at 10:55 a.m. a 33-year-old man suffered a saw injury to his chest and neck after an accident on Carter Street. The man was transported to a nearby hospital.

On Thursday, August 1, at 2:52 p.m. a woman came to the station to report that someone stole her prescription drugs from her pocketbook while she was at Wal-Mart. She said they were stolen either three days or a week ago.

On Thursday, August 1, at 8:55 p.m. a Serenity Drive resident reported hearing what she believed to be gunshots. Officers reported someone setting off fireworks. The residents were spoken to.

On Friday, August 2, at 7:09 a.m. officers were at Motel 6 to serve a male party staying in the motel. Tyris Ford Jr., 24, of 2720 N. Croskey Street, Philadelphia, Penn., was arrested on an outstanding warrant for peddling without a license.

On Friday, August 2, at 2:19 p.m. a woman from Baystate Road came to the staton to report that she was away for the weekend and returned home to find jewelry missing. Officers were dispatched to the home and a report was filed.
