Man Allegedly Holds Knife to Resident's Throat During Break-In

The following information was supplied by the Tewksbury Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

A caller from Baystate Ave. called police on Saturday, July 27, at 12:54 p.m. to report that a man came to his house and put a knife to his throat. 

Nine cruisers were sent to the area and Wilmington Police were notified as the suspect fled on foot. State Police were also called and an ambulance was eventually called to respond for a dog bite on the suspect. 

Matthew Brian Pariseau, 29, of 195 Hill Street Ext., Tewksbury, was arrested and charged with breaking and entering, assault with a dangerous weapon, and resisting arrest.

Planet Fitness Car Allegedly Broken Into

A 911 caller from Planet Fitness reported that a member’s car was broken into on Sunday, July 28, at 12:03 p.m.

Police arrested Howard R. Hall, 20, of 2020 Main Street, Tewksbury, and charged him with breaking and entering of a vehicle or boat during daytime for felony.

Additional Incidents:

On Thursday, July 25 at 12:42 a.m. a 911 caller reported that tree branches on Janet Ave. were laying on a transformer that was on fire.

On Thursday, July 25 at 10:41 a.m. officers arrived at a Heritage Drive home to serve a warrant. Deborah A. Massetti, 46, of 84 Heritage Drive, Tewksbury, was arrested and charged on a warrant of apprehension.

On Friday, July 26, at 12:53 a.m. a caller from Paulie’s Place reported there is some type of alarm sounding from a nearby residence. No one was home, but there was a dog inside the home in question. Fire Department members gained entry to the home and got a reading of the carbon monoxide level, which was not harmful. The house was secured and units left the area.
