Man and Women Arrested for Assault and Battery at Motel Caswell

The following information was supplied by the Tewksbury Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

A woman at Motel Caswell stated that a man who she knows hit her in the ribs on Sunday, Aug. 17, at 12:04 a.m. 

The man and the caller were both arrested. Richard D. Turilli, 46, and Victoria S. Nickerson, 34, both of 450 Main Street, Apt. 241, Tewksbury, were each arrested and charged with assault and battery.

An officer spotted possible drug activity at IHOP on Main Street on Sunday, Aug. 17, at 12:48 a.m. 

Matthew S. Pinheiro, 26, of 955 Greenville Ave., Greenville, R.I., was arrested and charged with possession of Class A drugs.

Additional Incidents:

On Saturday, Aug. 16, at 6:17 p.m. a resident at the Village Green Apartments on Main Street reported a man and woman arguing. Nicole Purcell, 41, of 1535 Main Street, Apt. 305, was arrested and charged with domestic assault and battery.

On Sunday, Aug. 17, at 11:29 a.m. a man allegedly rode his bike through a location where he had a restraining order. Steven J. Fulmer, 47, of 135 Leicester Street, Tewksbury, was arrested for violation of a harassment prevention order.

On Sunday, Aug. 17, at 6:41 p.m. a 911 caller reported a motor vehicle crash on Andover Street with the vehicle hitting a tree. Two patients were transported to Saints Medical Center. The caller reported that they saw another vehicle leaving the scene at a high rate of speed. An officer confirmed that another vehicle came at the victim head on and swerved away. A be on the lookout was issued for the other vehicle.

On Sunday, Aug. 17, at 9:47 p.m. dispatch received a 911 call for a disturbance on North Billerica Road. A caller reported that there was a group of juveniles fighting in the street. Two Tewksbury teenagers were taken into protective custody.
