Man Arrested After Trying To Climb Through Girl's Bedroom Window

A Tewksbury man is facing charges after he allegedly attempted to break into the home of a neighbor.

Teddy Gachie, 20, 6102 Archstone Ave., was charged with breaking and entering in the nighttime with the intent to commit a felony.

According to a , dispatch received a call from another Archstone Avenue resident at around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 1. The caller said a man had just tried to break into her home by trying to climb through her daughter's window.

The caller, who was able to provide a detailed description of the suspect, said that before fleeing the scene, the man had told her daughter that he lived there.

Officers responded to the address and, with the help of the description provided by the caller, located and arrested Gachie in the vicinity.

Arrests

Michael Connell, 41, 2 Glendale Circle, Wilmington, was arrested On April 1 and charged with OUI-liquor (second offense), a marked lanes violation and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

Michelle A. Glacken, 24, 10 Irene St., Billerica, was arrested on March 31 on an outstanding warrant.

Johnny Collazo, 36, 60 Ward Ave. East Hampton, was arrested on March 31 on two outstanding warrants.

Alfred S. Magid, 33, 135 Palomino Drive, North Andover, was arrested on March 31 and charged with OUI-liquor and speeding.

Erin Clegg, 25, 72 Heath St., Tewksbury, was arrested on March 31 on a charge of disorderly conduct.

Kevin Gilfillian, 30, 150 Fox Run Drive, Tewksbury, was arrested on March 30 and charged with Distribution of a Class B Substance and Distribution of a Class B Substance near a school or park.

Kevin Hyde, 26, 1521 Mass Ave. Arlington, was arrested on March 30 and charged with OUI-liquor.

Additional Incidents

Just after 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 31, officers responded to a report that a car had hit a coyote near The coyote was severely injured and an officer put the animal down with one shot.

On April 2, at around 7 a.m., an employee of Asplundhtree called police and said someone had stolen materials from their company on Powerline Road.

On Sunday, April 1, at around 8:15 p.m., there was a motor vehicle accident near the involving the Tewksbury K-9 vehicle. No injuries were reported.

On Sunday, April 1, the clerk at the Shell Station, 1975 Main St., reported she had been given a fake $10 bill. She was able to provide officers with the license plate number of the car the person left in. Officers responded and were unable to immediately locate the vehicle. A report was filed.

On Sunday, April 1, police received a call from Bielecki Masonry, 189 River Road, reporting the theft of a generator.

On Sunday, April 1, just before 1 p.m., there was a collision involving a motorcycle and a car near 617 Shawsheen St. The driver of the motorcycle was taken to Saints Medical Center for treatment of what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

On Friday, March 30, a resident of Primrose Circle called police to report a credit card theft. She said a Comcast solicitor who had been to the home several times had gone upstairs to check outlets and later asked to use the upstairs bathroom. Later he asked for a ride and she dropped him off at a local restaurant. It was when she got home that she noticed the credit card gone from an upstairs nightstand.

According to the caller, the next morning, a contractor working on her deck found the credit card in her driveway. She said she called the credit card company and was told that four purchases totaling more than $150 had been put on the card.
