Man Arrested at Main Street Business for Outstanding Assault Warrant

Monday, May 5

  • At 10:23 a.m. a woman on Marston Street came to the station reporting her son cleaned up the property along the high tension area and reported there were syringes on the ground. Police picked up the syringes and disposed of them properly.
  • At 2:35 p.m.  a caller on Fiske Street reported that he had tenants move out and they took the appliances that belong to the property owner.
  • At 7:46 p.m. 911 dispatch received a call for an unwanted woman at Motel 6. The caller said the woman can stay in the room if she calms down.
  • At 7:56 p.m. a caller reported several individuals going into a property on Whipple Road that is abandoned. Police were sent and the parties were spoken to.

  • At 9:09 a.m. a caller from a Tewksbury school reported a student was out of control. The student was released to their parent after police responded to the scene.
  • At 10:58 a.m. a 911 caller reported that a truck backed into her vehicle causing damage and then driving away.
  • At 11:04 a.m. a possibly rabid possum was reported on Brown Street. An officer used two rounds to put the possum down.
  • At 7:16 p.m. a caller on Main Street reported a man wearing jeans and a black shirt and a woman appeared to be on something. The woman was holding a baby and almost dropped it inside the business. Police arrested Kirk W. Proctor, 21, of 221 Shoreline Drive, Tewksbury, on an outstanding warrant for assault and battery.
