(Updated) Man Arrested for Assault After Parking Lot Incident
Tires stolen from several cars at local dealership.
Local man arrested for domestic assault
Police received a call at around 9:30 p.m. on Monday from a witness reporting an altercation between a man and a woman in the Wal-Mart parking lot. The caller reported that the two had left the scene in separate vehicles.
A short time later, the female involved in the incident arrived at Police Headquarters on Main Street to report being assaulted.

Officers were dispatched to Motel Caswell, where they arrested John Reznikow, 42, of 350 Main St., Apt. 231. He was charged with two counts of assault and battery and one count of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, as well as reckless operation of a motor vehicle.

Police got a call Tuesday around 12:30 p.m. for a man acting suspiciously on River Road. After responding to the call and investigating, officers arrested Timothy Shapiro, 26, of Lowell, who was wanted on an outstanding warrant.
That must have taken quite a while
Just before 5 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to a call from a security guard at Ira Nissan on Main Street. The guard reported finding tires removed from a vehicle that was parked out front.
Officers responded and discovered that the tires had actually been removed from several vehicles at the scene. The incident remains under investigation.
Unwanted at home, wanted by police
At around 4:30 p.m. on Monday, police received a call from a woman at 29 Newton Road complaining about an unwanted male at the residence. Responding officers investigated and arrested Michael Mooneyham, 25, of 29 Newton Road, on an outstanding warrant.
Minors plus alcohol plus a motor vehicle equals arrests
A motor vehicle stop at around 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday led to a pair of arrests. An officer pulled over a vehicle near 2256 Main St., driven by 18-year-old Jared Ravagni of Wilmington, for erratic operation. After a brief investigation, Ravagni was arrested for being a minor in possession of alcohol, possession of a Class D substance with intent to distribute and having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. The passenger, Brendan Fullerton, 18, of Wilmington, was arrested and charged with being a minor in possession of alcohol. The charges against Fullerton were subsequently dismissed.
