Man Crashes Into Colonia Drive Lawn, Charged With OUI

Wednesday, June 4

  • At 4:36 p.m. a 911 caller from Stadium Plaza said two men jumped out of a vehicle, ran into a store and stole a television before taking off in an unknown vehicle towards Lowell.
  • At 5:54 p.m. a man walked into the station to report that he works in a court in the area and someone has been making threats to harm him and his family.

  • At 1:02 a.m. 911 calls were received for a blue van that had hit a motor vehicle and was stuck on the lawn of a Colonia Drive home. Following the crash, police arrested Eugene L. Roux Jr., 55, of 155 Helvetia Street, Tewksbury. Roux was charged with second offense operating under the influence of liquor, marked lanes violation and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
  • At 8:58 a.m. officers responded to Poland Ave. to serve a warrant of a female party. Josephine L. Cassanelli, 24, of 171 Poland Ave., Tewksbury, was arrested on a warrant of apprehension.
  • At 3:39 p.m. 911 dispatch received a call that two men were in a home in town doing drugs. Following the incident, police arrested Michael J. Codner, 27, of 34 Cinnamon Circle, Tewksbury. He was charged with an outstanding warrant for receiving stolen property.
