Tewksbury Man Charged With Attempted Murder Following Stabbing at Motel 6

The following information is provided by the Tewksbury Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Tewksbury Police received reports early Monday morning that a person had been stabbed at Motel 6 at 95 Main St.

Cesar Abad, 36, of 95 Main St. Apt. 118, is being charged with attempted murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (serious bodily injury), according to Tewksbury Police.

Upon arrival at Motel 6, police were able to lock down the area and catch Abad shortly after.
