New Rash of Car Break-Ins Strikes Tewksbury Neighborhood

The following information was supplied by the Tewksbury Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Another rash of car break-ins has struck a Tewksbury neighborhood. And this time it appears the thief (or thieves) stole an entire car during their crime spree.

According to information provided by the residents reported at least nine vehicles at six separate addresses were broken into some time late Thursday night into early Friday morning.

Five of those addresses were on either Heidenrich Drive, Wedgewood Road or Harold Place. Those three streets are located very close to each other off Rogers Street near North Billerica Road.

A Wedgewood Road resident reported that one of the vehicles in their driveway was stolen and the other was broken into.

There was also a resident reporting a vehicle break-in that night on Edward Street, which is located roughly a mile from the other crime scenes.

Arrests:

Lucero Molina Suarez, 45, 15 Ferry St., Newark, NJ, was arrested on Jan. 24 and charged with engaging in sex for a fee. She was arrested at the Extended Stay America Motel on Andover Street.

Jill Ferri, 27, 1 Fletcher Drive, Apt. 2, Tyngsboro, was arrested on Jan. 25 and charged with three counts of larceny over $250.

Felix Melendez Jr., 33, 19 Marango St., North Andover, was arrested on Jan. 24 and charged with armed robbery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Jakob W. Durat, 19, 170 Bradford Road, Tewksbury, was arrested on Jan. 24 and charged with Possession of a Class D substance and several motor vehicle equipment violations.

Jacquelyn M. Ciriello, 26, 73 Park Ave, Apt. 4, Lowell, was arrested Jan. 23 and charged with OUI-liquor and reckless operation of a motor vehicle.

Additional Incidents:

Police received a call from an employee of Aubut's Liquors. The caller said she believed another employee of the store had stolen some money out of an envelope at the store. A report was filed.
