New Rash of Car Break-Ins Strikes Tewksbury Neighborhood

The following information was supplied by the Tewksbury Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Another rash of car break-ins has struck a Tewksbury neighborhood. And this time it appears the thief (or thieves) stole an entire car during their crime spree.

According to information provided by the residents reported at least nine vehicles at six separate addresses were broken into some time late Thursday night into early Friday morning.

Five of those addresses were on either Heidenrich Drive, Wedgewood Road or Harold Place. Those three streets are located very close to each other off Rogers Street near North Billerica Road.

A Wedgewood Road resident reported that one of the vehicles in their driveway was stolen and the other was broken into.

There was also a resident reporting a vehicle break-in that night on Edward Street, which is located roughly a mile from the other crime scenes.

Do you mean Edwards Street?

It is technically Edward without the S on town records. Of course, one street sign has the s and the other end of the street doesn't, which makes it all the more confusing ;)

I've always called it Edwards... hmm, that little map on the side of the webpage says Edwards too.
