Nurse Arrested for Allegedly Stealing Drugs From Elderly Woman

Sunday, May 4

  • At 1:13 a.m. dispatch received a 911 call for a crash on Madeline Road with no injuries. The caller said the driver in question hit two parked cars and a mailbox. Alec Rodriguez Jr., 19, of 32 Englewood Road, Tewksbury, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
  • At 2:27 a.m. police pulled over a driver for speeding on Whipple Road. Brittany L. Dicredico, 24, of 55 Fremont Street Apt. 2, E. Somerville, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, speeding, marked lanes violation and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
  • At 4:33 p.m. a 911 caller reported that he believes his grandmother’s nurse is stealing her medicine. Police investigated and returned to the station with one person under arrest for the theft. Amanda L. Stamas, 26, of 6 Carlisle Lane, Pelham, N.H., was arrested and charged with possession of Class B drugs and larceny of drugs.
  • At 12:12 a.m. a caller reported that a man keyed a vehicle at Route 38 Café. Wilmington Police were notified.
