Tewksbury Police cleaned up seven outstanding warrants with two arrests over the past few days.
The first arrest came when Officer Alysia Russo attempted to serve a summons at 42 California Road just before 6 p.m. on Wednesday. While there, she observed a male she knew to have two active warrants connected to him. Russo arrested 31-year-old Nicholas Minichiello of 42 California Road, Tewksbury, on the two warrants.
On Thursday, an officer responding to a medical call was checking out a suspicious vehicle on Regis Road. The owner of the vehicle came out of a nearby residence and asked if she could help the officer. The officer had the name of the owner of the vehicle run through the computer and learned there were three outstanding warrants for her arrest. Arrested on the warrants was 32-year-old AnnaMarie Damato of 3 Grandview Ave., in Methuen.
Early Friday morning, police went to Motel 6 on Main Street and arrested 38-year-old Shannon Dozois of Winter Street in Lawrence on two outstanding warrants.
Kids, summer vacation is over
Police responded to a call just before 1 a.m. Friday, from Rogers Street, reporting that a large group of teens was in the woods making a great deal of noise and that they had a bonfire.
Officers responded to the scene, prompting the gathering to disperse rapidly. Officers called for a fire engine, which responded and the fire was extinguished.
He was just going "green"
An officer was called to Fiske Street on the report of a male on a bicycle acting suspiciously. The officer spoke to the man who, it turned out, was just heading home from work.
Return visit leads to arrest
Police received a call at around 8 p.m. on Thursday reporting a domestic disturbance between brothers at 110 Arkansas Road. Officers responded and the situation seemed to have defused as they were told the older brother was heading out for the evening.
However, they were called back to the same address just 45 minutes later. This time, as they were arriving to investigate, a vehicle attempted to leave the property. Further investigation led to the arrest of 25-year-old Derek Delisle, 110 Arkasas Road, on charges of being in possession of a Class C substance.

Thursday at around 11:30 p.m., police responded to Oliver Street, after a caller reported hearing five or six gunshots coming from either South Oliver Street or South Amos Street. An investigation by officers determined that the noises heard were fireworks that had been set off behind Heath Brook School.
Restoring faith in humanity
Wednesday at around 10:30 a.m., a woman called the Police Station to report that her husband's wallet, stolen about three weeks earlier, had been returned. It was left in the doorway of their home and nothing had been taken from it.
