Pair Arrested Following Alleged Drug Deal on Andover Street

The men were arraigned in Lowell District Court on Thursday.

Police surveillance led to the arrest of two men who were caught in the middle of an alleged drug deal.

On Wednesday, April 9, Tewksbury Police were conducting surveillance on Andover Street when they witnessed the alleged transaction of Percocet.

The two men were placed into custody, and each was in turn arraigned in Lowell District Court on Thursday, police said.

Kyle Harvey, 28, of 165 Tyler Street, Methuen, was charged with possession of Class B controlled substance.

William Watkins, 30, of 35 Forest Park Road, Dracut, was arrested and charged with distribution of Class B controlled substance, possession to distribute a Class B controlled substance, and conspiracy to violate controlled substance laws.
