Patron Caught on Tape Stealing from Main Street Restaurant

Thursday, March 20

  • At 3:52 p.m. a business manager on Main Street reported that she has video of a party stealing something from the restaurant. She said the incident was already called in, but she recently found the theft on tape.
  • At 4:31 p.m. a Wal-Mart caller reported a shoplifter leaving the parking lot. Taryn L. Scanlon, 22, of 5 Plympton Street, Apt. 2, Woburn, was arrested and charged with shoplifting by asportation.

  • At 4:00 a.m. a burglar alarm was reported at Wynn Middle School. Police checked the building and everything was secure.
  • At 6:03 a.m. 911 callers reported an overturned vehicle on Pike Street. Several rescue crews were dispatched to the scene. The operator of the vehicle was outside of the vehicle upon their arrival.
