PHOTOS: Medflight Required for Three Tewksbury Residents After Explosion

Police said late Tuesday night that it is too early to determine how serious the burns are to the three Tewksbury residents.

Firefighters from Tewksbury, Billerica, Wilmington, and several other towns were on hand late Tuesday night into Wednesday following a house explosion on Astle Street.

Police have not yet determined if the explosion and subsequent fire were suspicious, but they would like to speak with two people who were seen possibly leave the area prior to emergency responders' arrival.

Three victims were transported to the Wal-Mart parking lot by ambulance following the explosion. That is where helicopters were waiting to transport the Tewksbury residents to Boston hospitals.
