Police Log: A Warrant Arrest at Motel 6, a Reported Car Break and More

The following information is an excerpt from the Tewksbury Police Department logs. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Dec. 6

6:20 p.m. A caller at the Petroil station at 365 Main St. reported seeing a car hit another car at the red light by Walmart while both were traveling south on Route 38. The vehicle that was struck didn't stop and the vehicle that did the hitting pulled into the Petroil station. Police received another report the same vehicle almost hit another car on Route 38. Responding officers reported the vehicle was gone on arrival.

7 p.m. A caller reported his vehicle was broken into while at Longhorn Steakhouse, 1900 Andover St. A report was filed.

11:16 p.m. Officers responded to Motel 6 to serve a warrant. Zachary Hale, 87 Linden St., Lowell, was arrested on a warrant out of Salem District Court. 

2:14 p.m. Police received a report that a car had crashed into a rock wall at 1157 Livingston St.  One vehicle was towed.
