Police Log: Two Arrests, a Reported Car Break and More

The following is an excerpt from the Tewksbury Police Department logs. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.


Saturday, Oct. 12

4:19 p.m.- An employee at Walgreens at 2341 Main St. requested an officer speak with an individual who appeared to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. The individual was reportedly making customers uncomfortable as they entered the store. Lawrence Robert Gamst, 7702 Pouliot Place, Wilmington, was arrested for open and gross lewdness.

7:41 p.m.- Officers responded to Mobil on the Run at 1785 Andover St. for a suspicious vehicle. Eric Knowlton, 101 Auburn Road, Londonderry, was arrested for possession of a class B drug and possession of a class c drug.

Sunday, Oct. 13

9:59 a.m.- An employee at Gold's Gym reported a car was parked in their lot with the window smashed in. K9 units were sent to that location and officers spoke with the owner who stated it was his son's car which broke down and was supposed to be towed. A report was filed.

9:48 p.m. An employee at Cracker Barrel reported a red ford taurus with a male operator trying to revive a female passenger by slapping her in the face while yelling she had no pulse from an overdose. Officers responded but the vehicle left down 133 toward Lowell. Lowell PD was notified.
