Police Log: Two Arrests, A Stolen Ipad and More

The following is an excerpt from the Tewksbury Police Department logs. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.


Friday, Oct. 11

9:40 a.m. An individual came into the police station to report that someone stole his I-Pad from his vehicle that was parked in the lot at the State Hospital. A report was filed.

10:02 a.m.- A female individual waked into the lobby at the station to report items stolen from her residence at 417 Foster Road on previous occasions. A report was filed.

10:22 a.m. Officers attempted to locate a male individual at 1113 Ames Hill Drive. Richard P. Lucas, 402 S. Main Street Apt. 19, Woonsocket, RI, was arrested for failure to register as a level two or three sex offender.

11:45 a.m. An individual came into the station to report she witnessed a hit and run accident involving a parked vehicle at Market Basket at 10 Main Street. A report was filed.

1:14 p.m. Police received several calls reporting a car crash with injuries at 1470 Whipple Road at 213 Patten Road. One individual was transported to Saints Medical Center by ambulance.

4:10 p.m.- Police received a call for an assault in progress at 6 Temple Street. Officers responded and filed a report.

5:05 p.m. Police received a call from a resident of 45 Eighth Street reporting someone broke into his shed sometime overnight. A report was filed. 

5:06 p.m. Police received a call reporting a minor accident at 264 East Street and 191 Chandler Street. David Robert Woodworth, 1076 Chandler Street, Tewksbury, was arrested for operating under the influence of liquor (third offense) and operation of a motor vehicle with a revoked license (subsequent offense).

8:53 p.m. A caller on Dirlam Circle repored approximately 6 youths rang her doorbell and ran away. Officers spoke with a group of kids who stated they were not involved.
