Police Log: Two Arrests For Domestic Assault and Battery

The following is an excerpt from the Tewksbury Police Department logs. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.


Thursday, Oct. 10

4:05 p.m.- A caller at 140 Vernon Street reported she found a broken window at her residence after returning home. She was home the previous night packing and cleaning and returned to find the window broken. She was unsure if her items were still there.  A report was filed. 

5:39 p.m.- A caller reported an erratic driver in the area of Shawsheen Street and Main Street. Officers responded, stopped the vehicle at Whipple Road and Patten Road and reported the operator was spoken to.

6:08 p.m. A caller at 11 Old Boston Road Apt. 310 reported his exgirlfriend was acting out of control. Officers responded and two individuals were placed under arrest.

  • Thomas Nohelty, 11 Old Boston Road Apt. 310, Tewksbury, was arrested for domestic assault and battery. 
  • Debra Keniston, 11 Old Boston Road Apt. 310, Tewksbury, was arrested for domestic assault and battery.

Later that night at approximately 11:15 p.m. , Nohelty reported his ex-girlfriend had come back to the apartment to get some belongings and was chasing him around the building. Officers responded and transported Keniston back to the station to wait for a ride.

7:18 p.m.- A caller on Pike Street reported a suspicious gold and blue pickup truck with a Patriot's logo and American flag decal on the back approached his daughter while she was riding her bike on Fox Run Drive. The vehicle was occupied by an older couple. A report was filed.
