Police Log: Two Cars Slide Off the Road and a Gas Leak

The following information is an excerpt from the Tewksbury Police Department logs. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.


Friday, Jan. 3

12 a.m. An anonymous caller on Heidenrich Drive reported her neighbor's girlfriend was yelling in the middle of the road. Responding officers reported the individual was gone on arrival.

12:37 a..m. A caller on Arlington Street reported a vehicle slid onto her neighbor's lawn. There were no injuries, and AAA was called.

3:52 a.m. A caller reported the odor of gas at 224 Merrimack Meadows Lane. Responding officers reported gas was leaking from a gas line behind the building. National Grid was notified. 

7:59 p.m. A caller reported a car off the road at 823 South St. at 110 Bridge St. There were no injuries. A tow company was notified to pull the car from the snow.
