Police Log: Two Warrant Arrests, a Car Fire and More

The following information is an excerpt from the Tewksbury Police Department logs. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.


Thursday, Nov. 7

1:08 a.m.- A caller at Motel Caswell at 450 Main St. reported she was arguing with a male party who then walked across the street. Officers located the Lowell resident on Edward Rd. and placed him in protective custody.

1:25 a.m. Police received report of a car crash near 532 Rogers St. with unknown injuries. The involved individual called police to report he was not injured, but his car was on fire. Police and fire responded. An accident report was filed.

1:42 a.m.- Police received a report of a small tree down in the middle of the road at 163 Rogers St. at 139 Kennedy Rd. The tree was moved to the side of the road.

6:15 a.m. Officers arrested Sabrina Brittain, 63 Kinsley St., Nashua, on a warrant for operating under the influence of drugs.

7:23 p.m. Police received report of a possible intoxicated driver at 1244 Main St. Officers stopped the vehicle in question and reported the male has a medical issue, but was okay to drive. 

8:08 p.m. A female staying Extended Stay America at 1910 Andover St. reported she found a note on her windshield that morning stating "she was a pretty girl" followed by an email address. Officers filed a report. 

Friday, Nov. 8

12:26 p.m.- A caller reported a crash at 145 Brown St., where a car had struck a utility pole. One individual was transported by ambulance to Saints Medical Center. 

2:22 p.m.- A caller reported he was the victim of a hit and run accident while parked at Home Depot at 85 Main St. The caller claimed a witness saw the suspect's vehicle, an older Dodge Caravan with front-end damage. A report was filed. 

7:06 p.m. Officers arrested Jennifer Brown, 30 Wightman Rd., Tewksbury, on an outstanding warrant. 

7:40 p.m. A caller at 334 South St. reported a 15-year-old male rang his doorbell and that he and his friends were being chased up South St. by another male individual. Officers spoke with one of the youths in question as well as the male chasing them, who was pursuing them because he thought they vandalized his truck.
