Police Make Heroin Arrest During Andover Street Stop

The following information was supplied by the Tewksbury Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Police stopped a vehicle on Andover Street for defective equipment on Friday, March 8 at 8:11 p.m.

Following the stop, Sean Elliot Tracy, 22, of 6 Angela Road, Framingham, was arrested and charged for possession of Class A drugs, failure to stop for police and motor vehicle lights violation.

Brian Richard Callery, 25, of 25 Algonquin Road, Chelmsford, was arrested for an outstanding warrant and being present where heroin is kept.

Assault Alleged With Fire Poker

Dispatch received a 911 call reporting an argument between family members on Saturday, March 9 at 11:47 a.m.

The caller reported that one family member burnt another with a fire poker and locked himself in his room. Thomas Bernat, 39, of 1428 Andover Street, was arrested and charged with domestic assault and battery.

On Sunday, March 10 at 3:14 a.m. after an officer stopped a driver for littering on Helvetia Street, Erika Rose Ogden, 20, of 726 Hildreth Street, Dracut, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and marked lanes violation.

On Sunday, March 10 at 5:35 a.m. police received a call from IHOP on Main Street from an employee who reported a fight between multiple parties. She reported that one suspect left in a black vehicle towards Lowell and another on foot. There was no damage done to the building and no injuries, and all involved parties were gone on police arrival.

On Sunday, March 10 at 3:09 p.m. an officer assisted with an animal call on Hillcrest Road where a rapib possum was in the area. Two rounds were logged.

On Sunday, March 10 at 4:18 p.m. coming into the station, a woman reported that a female patient assaulted her earlier this month. She was at the station to speak to the female party.

On Monday, March 11 at 1:00 a.m. a 911 caller on Whipple Road reported that a vehicle crashed into his front lawn and appeared to be stuck. A Wilmington man was taken into protective custody.
