Missing Teenage Girl Found in New Hampshire

The girl was reportedly last seen Wednesday night at 10 p.m.

A teenage girl missing from Tewksbury for just under 24 hours has been found safe in Newton, NH. 

Tewksbury Police were seeking the public's assistance locating a 15-year-old who was last seen on Wednesday night.

According to a press release from the Tewksbury Police Department, Jacklyn Roche was last seen walking away from her Pleasant Street home at about 6 p.m wearing dark sweatpants, dark colored shoes, and a black hooded sweatshirt.

Roche's cell phone carrier was contacted on Thursday, and determined that the last ping to her phone was received from a cell tower in Marblehead at about 10 p.m. Wednesday night. After that time, however, the phone was shut outt.

The above photograph was posted to Roche's Facebook page after she went missing. Local police, NEMLEC, and K-9 Units have been searching the area throughout the day.

Police said Roche was found in Newton, N.H., at a North Main Street residence where she was in the company of a 23-year-old man, who they said she met online. Officers said Roche appeared to be in good health and there was no evidence she was being held against her will.

The investigation is still ongoing, according to Tewksbury Police.
