Two Transported to Hospital Following French Street Crash in Tewksbury

Two ambulances were requested at the scene, according to Twitter traffic.


Update 1:10 p.m.-
According to Tewksbury Deputy Chief John Voto, both operators were taken by ambulance to Saints Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a crash at French Street and Whipple Road. 

Contrary to previous reports, the jaws of life were not used and the operators did not have to be extracted from their vehicles, according to Voto. 

Original Post- Police responded to a car crash with entrapment at French Street and Whipple Road Monday afternoon, according to twitter user @newenglandfiren.

Two ambulances were requested to the scene, and the jaws of life were being used on the vehicle, according to twitter traffic.
