Resident Turns Himself in on Domestic Violence Complaint

A Tewksbury man faces charges of assault and battery after turning himself in at Wednesday night

The incident began around 9 p.m., when a 911 caller reported a domestic assault from earlier in the evening on State Street. The caller stated that a male party had fled the area and that a female party and her child were staying at a friend's house.

Three units responded to the scene of the alleged assault and firearms were removed from the home. Later, Verizon was faxed an "Immediate Threat to the Public Safety" form.

That alert became unnecessary when Alex Paltrineri, 38, walked into Police Headquarters and turned himself in. He was arrested and charged with assault and battery.

Thursday, at 10:41 p.m., police received a call from a resident reporting that her daughter took her car and had not returned it. The caller said she was sending a friend over to the , to retrieve the vehicle.

Officers also went to the Motel Caswell and made an arrest in connection with the call. Donna Cloutier, 42, of 92 Dracut Road in Dracut, was arrested on an outstanding warrant, being a fugitive from justice and misleading a police officer.

Warrant arrest

A warrant arrest was made at the Wednesday morning at around 9 a.m. Taken into custody was Deborah A. Esposito, 31, 1830 Main St. Apt. 2, Tewksbury.
