Second Suspect Arrested in Connection With Tewksbury Shell Station Armed Robbery

The following information is provided by the Tewksbury Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.


On Wednesday, Tewksbury Police arrested a second suspect in connection with the armed robbery of the Shell Station at 1975 Main Street on July 15. 

Patrick McNally, 51, of 418 Main St., Wilmington was arrested and charged with armed robbery, armed assault to rob and conspiracy, according to a release from Tewksbury Police.

With the assistance from the Boston Police Department, Tewksbury Police were able to apprehend McNally at 350 Adams Street in Dorchester, according to the release. 

Frank Pendergast, 45, of 4 Elderberry Road Apt. 103, Reading, was arrested earlier this week in connection with the Tewksbury Shell station robbery as well as a string of other robberies in the area. 

In addition to the Tewksbury robbery, McNally is also the suspected driver for Frank Pendergast in robberies in Woburn, Billerica, and Nashua, according to police.
