Stolen Car, Suspicious Football Player Top Police Log

The following information was supplied by the Tewksbury Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Arrests:

Robert Green, 50, 44 Third St. #3, Lowell, was arrested on Thursday, Aug. 30 and charged with receiving a stolen motor vehicle, receiving stolen property less than $250 and operating a motor vehicle after his license had been revoked.

Dominic Federico, 26, 17 Battle St., #1, Arlington, was arrested on Friday, Aug. 31 on two outstanding warrants.

Incidents:

A Charles Drive resident called at 12:56 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 31 and reported that there was a suspicious male going door-to-door on their street. The caller described the person as being a young male, wearing a white shirt and red shorts. An officer responded to the scene and located the young man. After an interview, the officer reported that the young man was a Tewksbury football player selling gift cards to benefit his football team.

At 11:46 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 30, a resident reported a coyote in the area of Polaris Lane.

At 9:20 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 30, a employee asked Police to go to the on Livingston Street and have the kids playing there leave in order to allow for mosquito spraying. Officers responded and reported that softball games were being played. The officer planned to contact the person in charge of the spraying to update them on the situation.

At 9:58 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 31, a Chester Street resident called police to report that a National Grid vehicle had turned around in their driveway and had left scuff marks on their driveway. An officer responded to the scene and found no damage. The resident planned to call the National Grid claims department.
