Tewksbury Man Arrested at TMHS on Drug Distribution Charges

The following information is provided by the Tewksbury Police Department.


Police arrested an 18-year-old student at Tewksbury Memorial High School on Thursday for alleged possession of marijuana with intent to distribute as the result of ainvestigation into the use and possession of narcotics on schools grounds.

Joseph Bova, 18, of 15 Crawford Drive, Tewksbury was arrested for possession with the intent to distribute marijuana and a controlled substance violation in a school zone, according to Tewksbury Police.

The arrest came after School Department Officials and the Tewksbury Police Department School Resource Officer conducted an investigation into the use and possession of narcotics on school grounds, according to police.

Bova was placed into custody while at school and was arraigned at Lowell District Court on Dec. 19.
