Tewksbury Man Arrested for Alleged Role in Casino Fire

The Providence Journal reported that the man threw a match between several video poker machines.

A Tewksbury man's trip to the casino didn't end with big winnings, but instead with him facing charges of arson.

Abdullah Alkhouri of Tewksbury has been charged with fourth-degree arson, according to the Providence Journal, after he allegedly started a fire behind the video lottery terminals at Twin River Casino in Lincoln, R.I.

According to the newspaper, video allegedly shows Alkhouri light a cigarette and throw the match between the machines.

Alkhouri was released on $5,000 surety bail and will next appear in court on April 15, according to the Providence Journal.
