Tewksbury Man Arrested For Allegedly Offering Sexual Acts at Library

The following information is provided by the Tewksbury Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Tewksbury Police arrested a Tewksbury man Thursday for allegedly offering sexual acts for a fee in the bathroom of the Tewksbury Public Library. 

Michael Crosby, 40, of 450 Main St, Apt. 220, Tewksbury allegedly posted an ad on Craigslist from the Tewksbury Public Library indicating he would perform sexual acts for a fee in the private bathroom of the library where he and possible clients “can play in the private bathroom”.

The library's private bathroom is located on the second floor.

Tewksbury Police sent an undercover detective to the library, and after meeting briefly, Crosby was arrested in the library. 

Crosby is due to be arraigned at Lowell District Court on Friday, July 19, 2013.
