Tewksbury Police arrested a Tewksbury man Thursday for allegedly offering sexual acts for a fee in the bathroom of the Tewksbury Public Library.

Michael Crosby, 40, of 450 Main St, Apt. 220, Tewksbury allegedly posted an ad on Craigslist from the Tewksbury Public Library indicating he would perform sexual acts for a fee in the private bathroom of the library where he and possible clients “can play in the private bathroom”.

The library's private bathroom is located on the second floor.

Tewksbury Police sent an undercover detective to the library, and after meeting briefly, Crosby was arrested in the library.

Crosby is due to be arraigned at Lowell District Court on Friday, July 19, 2013.

Looks like Crosby moved on from playing peek-a-boo at the car wash.

Sigh.... Yet another Caswell resident with so much to offer to our community. I say the county should just purchase the Caswell, and annex it as part of the prison system, and put bars on all the room windows. After all, a significant portion of the local criminal element is already dug in there like ticks, we might as well just put razor wire around the Caswell property so we can keep the scum all in one place, and away from us and our property! And as a reward for good behavior, an inmate would get to stay in one of the hot tub rooms! :)

Why didn't he bring people back to his hotel room? Seriously? In a library? Does anyone know if he's a registered sex offender? (disclaimer: it's not a gay=sex offender question, it's a has he been arrested for lewd behavior in public places before and is on the list.

I feel that it will help resolve a lot of the crime our town is dealing with and let the economy dictate the fate of places like Caswell and Motel 6.

If Motel Caswell is attracting this junk, just imagine what will the new proposed Slot parlor would do to our town. Dont fall for the short term advantages.

I would like to let all the readers know that this gentleman is not staying at the Motel Caswell. He was kicked out over a week ago and will not be returning.

Kristen, thanks for the update. Hopefully he was also issued a no trespass order as well, so he doesn't set up shop there in another room or hang out with other guests living there after this mornings arraignment in court.

I can assure you he will not be back at the Motel. I would also really appreciate it if you would take down your comment from earlier.

Kristen, I stand by my comment. Negative comments about a location that brings so many negative things to town are nothing I feel apologetic about, nor will I delete them. Are you suggesting that the Caswell is a beacon of shining light, bringing this community an influx of guests who bring with them the fine traits of upstanding morals, clean living, spotless criminal records, and a positive economic to our town, and as such the Caswell is totally undeserving of it's awful reputation as a well known haven of druggies, hookers, criminals and other assorted scum? I'm sorry if you find it offends your sensibilities, Kristen, but my opinion is shared by many others in town, and if you want to turn my opinion around, feel free to rebut it with your take on the positive benefits and impacts the Caswell brings to this town.

He is still staying at the Motel Caswell...saw him out there yesterday as I was jogging by that dump.
KCaswell July 24, 2013 at 11:50 AM
He was absolutely not there yesterday. Like I said before he was kicked out almost three weeks ago.

Just wondering why does Motel Caswell accept that type of clientele? Why was this guy kicked out of Motel Caswell..they have guidelines on what kind of person can live there?
