Tewksbury Police Execute Drug Search Warrant, Two Arrested

The following information is provided by the Tewksbury Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.


Tewksbury Police arrested two Rockvale Road residents Monday on charges including possession with intent to distribute Oxycodone and possession of an unregistered firearm. 

On Oct. 21, detectives from the Tewksbury Police Department executed a search warrant at 62 Rockvale Road and arrested residents Kevin Burris and Stacy Matranga.

As a result of the search, Detectives seized an unregistered Glock 23, 40 caliber, semi-automatic firearm with a large capacity magazine that was located inside Mr. Burris and Ms. Matranga’s bedroom. 

Detectives also seized (9) 30 MG Oxycodone pills, approximately 3 grams of Heroin, various forms of Steroids, two cell phones and over $300 in U.S currency.

At the time of the execution of the search warrant for the residence, Detectives also executed a search warrant on the vehicle that Mr. Burris was driving, a 2003 gray Audi  A4 (Ma. Reg. 688FE2). The vehicle was also seized pursuant to the search warrant.

Kevin Burris, 28, 62 Rockvale Road, Tewksbury was arrested for possession with intent to distribute a Class B Drug, (Oxycodone) subsequent offense, possession of a Class A Drug (Heroin) subsequent offense, conspiracy to violate drug Law, possession of a large capacity firearm, possession of a Class C Drug (Steroids) and possession of a firearm without an FID Card.

Stacy Matranga, 20, 62 Rockvale Road, Tewksbury was arrested for possession with intent to distribute Class B Drug (Oxycodone) subsequent offense, possession of a Class A Drug, (Heroin) subsequent offense and conspiracy to violate drug law.
