Tewksbury Police Make Five Heroin-Related Drug Arrests

The following information is provided by the Tewksbury Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.


In two separate incidents on Wednesday, Aug. 28, Tewksbury Police made a total of five arrests related to the possession of heroin. 

Two Lawrence residents were arrested after detectives observed them making a drug transaction on Cardigan Road at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, according to Tewksbury Police.

Carlos Cruz-Rosario, 22, of 424 Lowell St., Apt. 1, Lawrence and Joaldy Jimenez-Gullen, 22, of 73A High St., Apt. 3, Lawrence, were arrested  for distribution of heroin, possession with the intent to distribute heroin and conspiracy.

Cruz-Rosario was also charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. 

In a separate incident, three Nashua men were arrested after detectives observed them acting suspiciously in the Fairfield Inn parking lot on Andover St. at 8:50 p.m on Wednesday, according to police. 

Sean McGonacle, 24, of 10 Custer Cir., Nashua, NH was arrested and charged with possession of heroin, possession of crack cocaine and possession of Xanax.  

Andrew Trombly, 26, of 23 Danbury Rd., Nashua, NH and Michael Collins, 26, of 238 E. Dunstable Rd., Nashua, NH were both arrested and charged with possession of crack cocaine and knowingly being present where heroin is kept.  

According to Tewksbury Police, when Detectives approached the three individuals and conducted an investigation they located narcotics and placed the suspects under arrest.  

All of the suspects are due to be arraigned in Lowell District Court on Thursday.
