Tewksbury Resident Looks For Help Locating Possibly Stolen Dog

This pitbull is missing from a Tewksbury residence near the Billerica line.

UPDATE-- Good news, everyone! Tewksbury Patch has been informed that Lucc has been found and returned to his owner.

A Tewksbury woman is looking for her 2-year-old pitbull Lucc who she believes was stolen from her backyard on Saturday evening.

Tewksbury Patch received a tweet on Sunday reporting the missing pitbull, with the photo above attached:

Missing/possibly taken from yard in Tewksbury-e. Bill line. Pls call 978-604-7502 with info.

The Lowell Sun reports that owner Samantha Halley, 24, believes an ex-boyfriend stole Lucc from her back yard on Emily Road at around 10 p.m. on Saturday when the dog had been let out into the fenced-in yard for approximately 10 minutes. 

Halley told the Sun her ex-boyfriend had threatened to take the dog the days leading up to the theft.
