Tewksbury Teen Faces Sex Abuse Charges In Medford

Woman arrested after throwing dishes out her front door.

A 19-year-old Tewksbury man faces nine charges stemming from alleged sexual abuse of a minor in the town of Medford, according to that town's police log.

Thomas Hutchinson of 2273 Main St. in Tewksbury is charged with statutory rape, prostitution/unlawful sex, two counts of distributing obscene matter, carrying a dangerous weapon, lascivious nude posing of a child, enticing a child under 16, extortion by threat of injury and witness intimidation.

Hutchinson turned himself in to police at the Medford Police Station at  about 11 a.m. Friday.

Flying dishes leads to arrest

received a 911 call Monday around 8:30 p.m. regarding a possible domestic disturbance on Shoreline Drive. According to the caller, a woman at that address who they believed to be intoxicated, was throwing plates out her front door.

Officers arrived to investigate the situation. As a result of their investigation, 43-year-old Dawne Dunn of 193 Shoreline Drive, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Falling sign causes damage

Police were called to the parking lot of at 11 a.m. Wednesday, after getting a call that a large sign had fallen from the building. Officers responding to the scene found that the falling sign had damaged two vehicles parked in the lot.

Arrests:

Michael Piccolo, 45, 15 Boisvert Road, Tewksbury, was arrested Tuesday and charged with violating an order of protection.

Michael B Donovan, 57, 96 Lee St., Tewksbury, was arrested Tuesday at his home and charged with assault and battery.

Gary Leigh, 49, whose address is listed at Motel 6, 95 Main St., Apt. 204, Tewksbury, was arrested Tuesday on two outstanding warrants.
