Tewksbury Teenager Charged With Breaking Into Vehicles, Home

Kassidy Gray, 19, of Tewksbury faces a variety of charges after her Tuesday arrest.

A Tewksbury teenager is charged with breaking into multiple vehicles and a home on Tuesday, as police used security footage and other evidence to help track her down.

On Tuesday at 7:20 a.m., police were called to Thermo Fisher on Radcliff Road for a report that a truck was broken into sometime overnight.

Responding officers processed the scene and collected blood from the window, which was broken by the suspect. No witnesses were found, but police were able to obtain video footage of the parking lot.

While investigating the incident, police said they were notified that two other vehicles were broken into, and another two were damage in the area of Ames Hill, which is across the street from Thermo Fisher.

Later in the day, police said a resident from an Ames Hill home told them their property had been broken into as well.

Officers identified a suspect in the string of break ins, and when they reviewed the footage from Thermo Fisher later in the afternoon, they made a positive identification of their suspect.

Police arrested Kassidy M. Gray, 19, of 61 Ronald Drive, Tewksbury. Gray was found at about 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday during a motor vehicle stop on Main Street.

Gray was charged with malicious destruction of property, breaking and entering of a vehicle nighttime for felony, malicious damage to a motor vehicle, larceny under $250, and breaking and entering with intent to commit a misdemeanor.
