Tewksbury Woman Arrested For Assault and Battery of a Child

The following information is provided by the Tewksbury Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.


Tewksbury Police arrested a Tewksbury woman Thursday on charges including indecent assault and battery of a child.

Lauren Miele, 29 of 94 Pennacook Rd., Tewksbury was arrested for indecent assault and battery on a child under 14 and for creating the risk of serious bodily injury or sexual abuse to a child. 

Miele was arrested as part of the ongoing investigation resulting from the Aug. 14 arrest of a Tewksbury man on multiple counts of child rape. 

Scott Brzezowski, 29, of 94 Pennacook Road, was arrested by Tewksbury Police on Aug. 14 on four counts of rape of a child, four counts of aggravated rape, four counts of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14 and disseminating obscene matter to a child.  

Brzezowski allegedly sexually abused and raped a 9-year-old girl multiple times, made the child view pornographic material with him and threatened to cut off her pinky finger if she told anyone, according to a report from the Lowell Sun.

Meile is scheduled to be arraigned in Lowell District Court on Friday.
