Tewksbury Woman Charged With Assault and Battery

The following information was supplied by the Tewksbury Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Dispatch received a 911 call on Sunday, Feb. 10, at 9:40 p.m., from Trull Road for an argument between family members over a cell phone.

The caller stated she tackled a male onto the bed during the argument. Following the incident, Victoria A. Tirrell, 38, of 152 Trull Road, Tewksbury, was arrested and charged with domestic assault and battery.

On Saturday, Feb. 9, Tewksbury Police received a call from Memorial Drive. A resident told officers that his 18-year-old son was smoking marijuana outside the property. He and his wife did not want the son to come back into the residence.

On Saturday, Feb. 9 at 1:20 a.m. police received a call from Home Depot for an alarm coming from the cash pick up door and truck entry driveway. Cars responded to the area, but found no footprints or tire tracks and everything appeared secure.

On Sunday, Feb. 10, at 12:55 a.m. on Carter Street, the K-9 Unit was flagged down for assistance with the driver of a car with lumber sticking out the side, almost hitting a person.

On Sunday, Feb. 10, at 1:12 a.m. a male caller reported a possible domestic argument on Pike Street where a female party was seen running from a male in the area.

On Sunday, Feb. 10, at 5:58 p.m., police were called from McCarthy Way for a report that a neighbor told a caller’s son that he was going to decapitate his father. The boy’s mother is at the home speaking with the suspect, and the caller believed an argument would ensue.

On Sunday, Feb. 10, at 9:54 p.m. at Burger King, an employee called to report that one of his patrons was attacked by another male party. The suspect was located shortly after in the Motel 6 parking lot and a report was filed.
