Two New Hampshire Men Arrested on Drug Charges

The following information was supplied by the Tewksbury Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

An officer stopped a car near Cracker Barrel on Andover Street on Monday, Aug. 12, at 7:53 p.m. 

Stephen Elliott, 31, of 173 Greenville Road, Wilton, N.H., was arrested and charged with possession of Class A drugs, a warrant for trespassing and a warrant for shoplifting. 

Mark McCreeery, 33, of 8 River Street, Greenville, N.H., was arrested and charged with possession of Class A drugs and failure to stop for police.

Domestic Incident Leads to Arrest

A 911 caller on Sandy Lane told police that a relative damaged his vehicle and assaulted him on Thursday, Aug. 15, at 7:20 p.m. The caller said the man then took off on foot.

Police located and arrested Andrew P. Couto, 22, of 11 Sandy Lane, Tewksbury, and charged him with domestic assault and battery and malicious destruction of property greater than $250.

Additional Incidents:

On Tuesday, Aug. 13, at 4:54 p.m. a Dudley Road resident walked into the lobby to report that her vehicle was broken into this morning. Some money, tools and CDs were taken.

On Tuesday, Aug. 13, at 5:21 p.m. a Pets Plus employee reported that two women with a small child stole a fish tank earlier in the day.

On Wednesday, Aug. 14, at 8:43 p.m. officers responded to Pennacook Road to serve a warrant. Scott Brzezowski, 29, of 94 Pennacook Road, Tewksbury, was arrested on a warrant for indecent assault and battery on a child under 14 years old.

On Thursday, Aug. 15, at 9:08 a.m. a woman on Dunvegan Road reported that her “NO SLOTS” sign was taken off of her property overnight.

On Thursday, Aug. 15, at 1:05 p.m. dispatch received a 911 call for a three-car crash on East Street at Maple Street, involving a school bus. State Police sent a reconstruction team and one person was transported to a nearby hospital.
