Two OUI Arrests In Five Minutes

were kept busy with arrests in seven separate incidents over the span of two days. Two of the arrests came within five minutes of each other, both for OUI.

Thursday, Sept. 8, at 9:56 p.m., police received a 911 call about a motor vehicle accident with possible injury on Clark Road. While the injuries were minor and the driver refused treatment, she was arrested at the scene. Carlene M. Doucette, 43, 8 Nelson Ave., was charged with OUI-liquor (second offense) and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

At 10:01 p.m. that same evening, an officer made a motor vehicle stop for a marked lanes violation near 849 Whipple Road. Matthew Peirce, 23, 8 Primrose Road, Billerica, was charged with OUI liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and a marked lanes violation.

Stolen car reported (Sept. 9)

On Friday, police received a call from a woman who reported that her car had been stolen from the parking lot. She said she knew who had the car, but that he did not have permission to take it.

Later, the Lowell Police reported that same car may have been involved in a hit and run accident in their city. The river was finally contacted by police and told to return the vehicle. However, after agreeing to, he was a no-show. Police put out a BOLO and a stop and hold request.

Arrests:

Michelle Moriarty, 48, 83 Shawsheen St., Tewksbury, was arrested on Sept. 9 on an outstanding warrant.

James Lacey, 54, 102 Middlesex St., Lowell, was arrested on Sept. 9 at 5:34 p.m., and charged with assault and battery and assault and battery on a person over 60 or disabled with injury for an incident that allegedly

Jessica Brennan, 21, 6 Pinewood Drive, Tewksbury, was arrested on Sept. 9 at 7:40 p.m. on an outstanding warrant.

Erica L. Belliveau, 21, 7 Wamesit St., Tewksbury, was arrested on Sept. 9 at 2:03 a.m. after a motor vehicle stop at 1965 Main St. She was charged with OUI-liquor, marked lanes violation and having an open container of alcohol in her car.

Katelyn T. Landry, 24, 22 Easement Road, Tewksbury, was arrested on Sept. 8 on an outstanding warrant.
