Wilmington Driver Arrested for Alleged Underage OUI

Officers stopped a vehicle on Whipple Road for a marked lanes violation on Saturday, March 16, at 1:46 a.m.
Following the traffic stop, Robert Fisher, 19, of 35 Hanover Street, Wilmington, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation, possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, and being a person under 21 years old in possession of liquor.
Five Wilmington residents, all 19 or 20 years old, were arrested and charged with being a person under 21 years old in possession of liquor.

Taser Used in St. Paddy's Day Arrest
On Jefferson Road, a caller requested assistance removing a person from the property who she reported is outside and very intoxicated on Sunday, March 17, at 12:56 p.m.

Officers were forced to deploy a taser on the man. David Scott Robson, 53, of 14 Jefferson Road, Tewksbury, was arrested for resisting arrest.
Additional Incidents:
On Saturday, March 16, at 12:45 a.m. on I-495, a car was stopped for marked lanes violation near North Street. Kevin Melo, 30, of 7 Daley Ave., Metheun, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. A 41-year-old Metheun man was taken into protective custody.
On Saturday, March 16, at 2:27 a.m. a 911 call came in for a stolen vehicle at Mobil on the Run. The caller described the suspect as a Hispanic male around 5’5” who entered the vehicle and headed down 495 South.
On Monday, March 18, at 2:50 a.m. police stopped a vehicle for speeding on Andover Street. Jamal Aruri, 45, of 4 Heritage Lane, Andover, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and speeding.
On Monday, March 18, at 12:10 p.m. dispatch received a 911 call reporting that her and a neighbor heard what they believed to be a gun shot in the area of Carleton Road Ext.
