Woman Spots Suspicious Man Dressed in Black on Mount Joy Drive

On Tuesday, Feb. 18, at 1:31 a.m. police stopped a vehicle for an expired sticker on Main Street. Scott M. Baker, 35, of 8 Knollwood Road, Tewksbury, was arrested on two outstanding warrants for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

Sunday, Feb. 16

• At 12:23 a.m. an officer was called to check on a two-car crash on Andover Street. There were no reported injuries.

Monday, Feb. 17

• At 2:13 a.m. a resident on Anthony Road resident said he is receiving what he believes to be threatening phone calls regarding his daughter. The caller reported someone called asking to speak with his daughter and when he asked who was calling they said “Just put her on the phone before I get to your house.” An officer called the person believed to be responsible for the calls, but when he identified himself the person disconnected from the phone.
• At 6:12 p.m. a woman walked into the station to report that she left her vehicle unlocked at Wal-Mart and her purse was taken. Inside was a license, credit cards, cash, and a bracelet among other things.
• At 8:49 p.m. a woman called to report that when she dropped off a friend on Mount Joy Drive she saw a man dressed in all black including a black sweatshirt on the side of a home in the neighborhood. The caller said that when her headlights hit the man, he ran into the woods. When she was leaving the area she saw him again on the right side of the home doing something suspicious.
