Gov. Patrick Visits Tewksbury, Addresses Snow Cleanup and Local Aid

Governor offers thanks to efforts by State Highway Department workers.

Gov. Deval Patrick was in Tewksbury on Thursday, stopping by the State Highway Department depot on Clark Road.

The governor addressed the efforts of state workers relative to snow and ice cleanup this winter. He also took a moment to address criticisms levied at him by legislators, including members of his own party, regarding his proposed State Budget for Fiscal Year 2012 and an estimated seven percent cut in unrestricted local aid.
