PHOTOS: Tewksbury's Community Safe Halloween

Despite a one-week delay, hundreds of children turned out to participate.

Hundreds of children and their families gathered a for the annual Community Safe Halloween celebration.

was on hand with vehicles and a K-9 demonstration, as was the Fire Department and DPW. The National Guard also made an appearance. The event was organized by a committee led by Tewksbury Safety Officer Jennie Welch.

There were games and activities for the kids and, of course, no shortage of creative costumes.
