Tewksbury residents are encouraged to bring their pets to an upcoming rabies clinic to receive vaccinations.

The town announced that it will hold a rabies inoculation clinic for cats and dogs on Saturday, March 22, from 1-3 p.m. The event will take place at the Department of Public Works Garage, located at 999 Whipple Road.

Interested residents are asked to bring their previously issued rabies certificate to verify the expiration and determine if the animal will receive a one of three-year vaccination.

All dogs must be on a leash at the clinic, and they must be at least six months old.

The cost for the clinic is $15 for each dog or cat, while a microchip will cost $30.
