Tewksbury Overnight Parking Ban in Effect Starting Friday

An overnight street parking ban is in effect on all streets from Nov. 1 through March 31, 2014 between the hours of midnight and 6 a.m.

An overnight street parking ban in Tewksbury is in effect on all streets from Nov. 1 through March 31, 2014 between the hours of midnight and 6 a.m., according to Town Clerk and Parking Clerk Denise Graffeo.

A fine of $25 will be imposed for a violation of this section, per town bylaw.

During a snowstorm, day or night, all vehicles must park off the street, according to Graffeo.

Cooperation is needed during inclement weather to prevent interference with the snow plowing and sanding and to keep the streets open for fire, police, ambulance, school buses and other emergency vehicles, according to Graffeo.
