Absolutely agree with using the Shawsheen Tech students for these odd jobs. They would probably welcome it and we could use the extra help. As Mary said, a win-win!

Karyn and Mary, don't get me wrong...I love the idea of using the signs to promote town meeting. I was thrilled to drive past those signs. We still ended up with 3/4 of 1 percent of the registered voters coming to the annual town meeting. I believe that is a reflection of the great job that our Town Manager, Richard Montouri and his department heads are doing in managing the town budget, stabilization fund, schools, etc... The current town leadership has Tewksbury on a very good path moving forward.

Jim, let's look into putting the signs out a little earlier for the next meeting or event. Let's light up the events on both ends of the Town for all to see. (Elections, Meetings, Farmers Market, Fund Raisers, and events Mark Ginsberg donates to the town, etc.) Being we own them, it is a win win situation to utilize them. (Just like asking the Tech students to do some of our odd jobs, after all, it would only cost the materials).

Mary...will do. By the way, since we haven't met, please feel free to introduce yourself before or after the special town meeting tomorrow.

Town Meeting passed away quite some time ago...some just haven't accepted the death yet.
